Therapeutic Models
I help clients find relief from anxiety and depression rooted in trauma by tailoring therapy to their unique needs. My approach supports individuals in processing past experiences so they no longer dominate the present. Together, we develop tools to manage unhelpful thought patterns and foster self-soothing, empowering clients to not just cope—but thrive.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a structured form of psychotherapy developed to treat PTSD and other trauma-related conditions. It uses bilateral stimulation—such as guided eye movements—to help the brain reprocess distressing memories, reducing their emotional intensity and promoting healing.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a widely used, evidence-based approach that helps individuals identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. While commonly used to treat anxiety and depression, CBT is also effective for a range of mental and physical health concerns, empowering clients with practical tools to manage challenges more effectively.
Somatic Psychotherapy
Somatic psychotherapy is a holistic approach that leverages the mind-body connection to support mental and emotional healing. By increasing awareness of how emotions are held and expressed in the body, this therapy helps individuals process trauma and regulate distress. It's especially effective for treating PTSD and other conditions where the body plays a key role in storing emotional pain.
